Such thing would happen to ants if a super intelligent ant was born: it would be pushed into mindless slaving instead of to a good use.

They are all here on this planet to do this. And yet -- we pick only some of them. The rest go to waste... Too little money for science. Good things happened in Manhattan Project, where they've put a ton of scientists together and gave them unlimited money, all of them. No one learned anything from it... It's a shame individual scientists cannot get engaged.
